The Value Concept,Promotion Path,and Guarantee Measures of Digital Transformation in British Universities:A Study Based on Qualitative Text Analysis
The widespread application of digital technology in the field of education has made the digital transformation of universities a global trend in higher education.In this context,British universities have begun to develop digital transformation strategies to coor-dinate and promote the process of digital transformation in schools.Select 12 strategic plan-ning texts for digital transformation in British universities,use Nvivo 12.0 software for three-level coding,and construct a digital transformation mechanism model for British uni-versities.Research has found that British universities are leading the digital transformation based on the value concept of"serving teachers and students,paying attention to safety,pro-moting overall progress,and improving efficiency".They promote digital transformation through paths such as"consolidating digital technology infrastructure,building digital edu-cation scenarios,deepening the application of digital technology in scientific research,adopting digital technology to optimize business processes,cultivating digital skills of all teachers and students,and relying on digital technology to strengthen interaction with the outside world".Through measures such as"strengthening whole process management,im-proving internal and external organizational guarantees,formulating time plans,and strengthening financial investment",they support the smooth implementation of digital transformation.
