40 Years of Research on Russian Literature in China Based on Data Analysis
In the past 40 years,scholars in China have made significant achievements in the study of Russian literature.This paper utilizes data extracted from the CFLSI database developed by a major project funded by the National Social Science Foundation,extracting quantitative research data from 1978 to 2020.By conducting statistical analysis on journal publications,annual publication numbers,authorship patterns,and keywords alongside qualitative research analysis,this paper objectively presents an overview of Russian literature research in China over the past four decades,highlighting both research hotspots and areas that require further attention.The findings reveal that post-reform and opening up era has witnessed remarkable advancements in studying classical writers within Russian literature.Additionally,there are notable interests in Silver Age literature and postmodern literature studies.However,research on certain authors remains relatively weak or even lacking.Therefore,leveraging digital intel-ligence tools and employing digital humanities technology to conduct comprehensive and ob-jective analyses of the achievements and shortcomings in Russian literature throughout these years can help us accurately assess its accomplishments and deficiencies.
