翻译研究的形象学路径探索
Exploring an Imagological Approach to Translation Studies

摘要
本文在翻译学与形象学的跨学科研究现状基础上,明确并完善翻译研究的形象学路径,阐释其研究内涵,确定其研究范畴、对象及焦点,并提出该路径的具体研究方法.作者指出,翻译研究的形象学路径是以描写翻译学为基础,以翻译与形象的互动关系为核心,以文本分析为手段,借鉴形象学的理论、概念和方法,从形象学视角对相关翻译现象进行描述和解释,从而探究翻译本质的一种方法论.在该路径中,研究对象可包含文学及非文学文本,研究焦点可包括自我形象和他者形象,研究方法涉及分别以阶段研究、主体研究和产品研究为导向的方法,既关注形象对翻译活动的影响,也关注翻译对形象建构、传播和接受的作用.
Abstract
Based on the interdisciplinary development of translation studies and imagology,this study clarifies and refines an imagological approach to translation studies,provides the definition of the approach,establishes its research scope,elaborates on its research objects and focuses,and proposes its research methods.Based on descriptive translation studies,this approach centers on the interactional relation between translation and image,makes use of textual analysis,draws on the concepts,theories and methods from imagology,and describes and explains translation phenomena from imagological perspectives.Within this approach,the research objects include literary and non-literary texts,the research focuses include both self-image and also hetero-image,and the research methods can be divided into three types:phase-oriented,agent-oriented and product-oriented.This approach is devoted not only to the influence of images on translation activities,but also to the construction,transmission and reception of particular images effected by translation in cross-linguistic and cross-cultural contexts.
