马丁·布伯是世界著名的犹太思想家和宗教哲学家,曾翻译阐释了中国代表性典籍《庄子》《聊斋志异》和《道德经》.作为德国学术语境中的犹太人,以及从闪米特文化和德国神哲学双重视野探视中国古老传统的思想家,布伯特有的综合禀性使其对中国思想的翻译和诠释别具风貌.研究马丁·布伯对中国典籍的翻译阐释、考察其思想发展的嬗变,可以为窥探中德文化的交流互动提供深厚的学术滋养,故而是一个亟需展开的研究领域.
Abstract
Martin Buber,a renowned twentieth-century theologian and philosopher,has translated and interpreted representative Chinese texts such as Chuang Tzu,Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio and Tao Te Ching.As a Jew in the German academic context,as well as a thinker who explored the ancient Chinese tradition from the dual perspectives of Semitic culture and German theology and philosophy,Buber's unique synthesizing endowment made his translation and interpretation of Chinese thought unique.The study of Martin Buber's translation and interpretation of Chinese canonical thought can provide profound academic nourishment for the exploration of Sino-German cultural exchange and interaction,and is therefore an urgent field of research.
