Local Implementation of Thematic Learning Activities on Mathematics from an International Perspective:Learning Progressions of the Concept Learning of"Mass"
This study focuses on the concept learning of"mass"with the help of an international perspective developed through a literature review,analyzing the cognitive characteristics of children at different developmental stages regarding the concept learning of mass and its measurement.It delineates the basic learning progression of the concept of mass and,further,combines the objectives of core mathematical competencies in China to construct a thematic activity design framework centered around the development of the concept of mass.
