A Study of the Influence Mechanisms of ICT Use and Psychological Qualities on Students'Mathematical Problem Solving Skills
Problem solving ability is a comprehensive quality and necessary skill for learners in the 21st century.With the integration of information and communication technology(ICT)into learning and life,research on its impact on students'mathematical problem solving ability can help to grasp the pattern of students'mathematical problem solving in the context of information technology and promote the innovation of teaching practice.In addition,psychological quality factors also have an important impact on students'mathematical problem solving.Based on the data of the top 10 countries and regions ranked by PISA 2022 in mathematical problem-solving ability,this study systematically examines the variations in students'mathematical problem-solving skills across different countries and regions.It investigates the correlation between the use of ICT,psychological attributes,and mathematical problem-solving ability,as well as the mechanisms through which ICT use and psychological factors influence students'problem-solving skills.The findings indicate disparities in ICT utilization,psychological attributes,and mathematical problem-solving proficiency among various countries and regions.Moreover,the study reveals that ICT usage significantly impacts problem-solving ability,psychological qualities play a crucial role in problem-solving proficiency,and the combined influence of ICT use and psychological factors affects problem-solving skills.The study underscores the importance of enhancing students'problem-solving skills within the educational curriculum,fostering problem-solving abilities in the era of information technology,and emphasizing the development of students'positive psychological attributes.
