Fatigue Prediction Model of Asphalt Mixture Considering Aggregate Type
To more accurately predict the fatigue performance of asphalt mixtures with different aggre-gate types,this study delved deeply into the fatigue prediction model from Highway Asphalt Pavement Design Specification(JTG D50-2017),hereinafter referred to as the JTG model.Using a uniform ex-perimental design method,four-point bending beam fatigue tests were conducted on AC-16C type as-phalt mixtures.Through the fatigue data of 67 groups of basalt,limestone,and granite asphalt mix-ture,the parameters of the JTG model were revised.It is found that:(1)The simplified JTG model is suitable for predicting the fatigue life of asphalt mixture,and different aggregate types affect the value of parameter a;(2)Basalt asphalt mixture has the longest fatigue life,followed by granite,with limestone having the shortest;(3)The revised JTG model aligns closely with actual fatigue test data.This research provides a more precise prediction model for the fatigue performance of asphalt mixture.
