One-dimensional Consolidation Analysis of Saturated Soft Soil with Non-parallel Equivalent Timeline Rheological Model
In this study, based on the non-parallel equivalent timeline viscoelastic model for saturated soft soil, the layered characteristics and nonlinear behavior of the soil foundation are comprehensively considered. The one-dimensional consolidation governing equations of the foundation are solved and analyzed using a semi-analytical method. The Fortran language is used to compile the program, and the degraded calculation results are compared with the existing rheological consolidation solutions under the parallel equivalent timeline to verify the correctness of the solution. The program is used to analyze the rheological consolidation behavior of saturated soft soil foundation. The effects of non-par-allel line parameter ζ on secondary consolidation coefficient, the consolidation degree defined by ef-fective stress and the growth law of ground settlement with the non-parallel equivalent timeline rheo-logical model are discussed. The results show that the secondary consolidation coefficient of the non-parallel equivalent timeline model decreases with the increase of self-weight stress and effective stress, and the rate of decrease depends on ζ.The non-parallel timelines mainly have a significant impact on the later stage of primary consolidation and the secondary consolidation. The higher the value of ζ,the earlier the completion of primary consolidation and the smaller the settlement of secondary consolida-tion.
