A Comparative Study of Chinese and French Exclamatory Markers
Whether in Chinese or in French, exclamatory sentences have never been valued by linguists.A large part of the rea-son is that the exclamatory sentence itself is difficult to define, coupled with its complex and diverse forms, the study of exclamatory sentences is more fragmented, and there are many aspects that need to be further explored. In the known studies of exclamatory sen-tences,it is not difficult to find analysis from the perspective of cross-language comparative research, especially the study of Chinese-English exclamatory sentences. However, from the perspective of Chinese-French comparison, its research is still blank. The compari-son of Chinese and French exclamations can not only broaden our academic horizons, but also provide theoretical support for related teaching work.Against this background, based on typical exclamatory sentences in written language, this paper will compare and anal-yse the characteristics of Chinese and French exclamatory sentences in terms of the background of the study, the theories and meth-ods adopted, the comparative study of Chinese and French exclamatory markers, and the causes behind them.
