Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of Chinese civilization,represents the wisdom of the Chinese nation,and has made a significant contribution to the health of the Chinese nation and mankind as a whole.To integrate traditional Chinese medicine culture into the construction of first-class college English curriculum in medical colleges is in line with the national strate-gic plan for the development of traditional Chinese medicine,the requirements of the construction of first-class undergraduate cur-riculum and the requirements of the construction of college English curriculum.It is helpful to improve the advanced,innovative and challenging level of college English curriculum based on the actual situation of medical colleges and universities,and helps students understand the connotation of traditional Chinese medicine culture and strengthen their self-confidence in traditional Chinese medicine culture;enrich the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine culture and play its role in health care;carry forward the cul-tural spirit of traditional Chinese medicine and cultivate noble professional ethics;improve cross-cultural communication ability and enhance the international influence of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
