In the experiment of ink painting,contemporary artist Cai Guangbin combines images with ink painting,making new explorations in content and form.On the one hand,he juxtaposes visual works with ink painting,giving traditional ink painting a new way of presentation,imbuing it with multi-level connotations,and using old media to carry new visual effects.On the other hand,he broke through the spiritual barrier between traditional ink painting and contemporary people in a certain way,forming an emotional intersection between images,ink painting,and viewers in space,conveying his own understanding of the era through the realistic re-lationship between people.This article analyzes the content,form,and language of Cai Guangbin's ink painting from multiple per-spectives.From the perspectives of the reality of images,the authenticity of artistic presentation,and the emotional resonance gener-ated by his works,it studies the explorations made by Cai Guangbin's ink painting characters in the contemporary context.
