Dongxi Day Talk Record,written by Zhou Qi of the Ming Dynasty,belongs to the category of Confucian works in the sub section.It is the first specialized book on Neo Confucianism in the history of Guangxi.As one of the few surviving local works on Neo Confucianism in Guangxi,it can be regarded as an important rural literature exploring the evolution of Confucianism in Lingyou.Due to the fact that the book has been circulated in cash for a long time in history,its engraved versions are also extremely rare after being published.During the long-term copying process,there are often errors,omissions,and errors in the written materials.In order to facilitate the academic community to make better use of this book and verify its version origins,a detailed proofreading of the first thirteen volumes was conducted,using The Four Categories as the base and the engraved edition of Lv Jingmeng's magazine in the 16th year of the Jiajing reign.The differences and similarities in its versions were clarified,and more than 200 errors were corrected.Now,53 of the more typical ones are selected,accompanied by case language for clarification,in order to restore its original appear-ance to a greater extent and avoid the errors of Lu Yu Hai.
