A Study on the C-E Translation Strategies of the Publicity Materials of Guangxi Zhuang Folk Culture from the Perspective of Skopos Theory
The customs and culture of the Zhuang ethnic group have a long history and are an important component of traditional Chinese culture.The folk culture of the Zhuang ethnic group in Guangxi is not only rich and colorful,but also has distinct local characteristics.As an indispensable part of China's intangible cultural heritage,its external promotion and translation is an important measure to promote the"going out"of Chinese culture in the context of"telling China's stories well".It is of great significance to es-tablish a positive and positive image of China as a multi-ethnic country.However,there are still many problems in the translation of Guangxi Zhuang folk culture for external promotion,which to some extent affects the effectiveness of external dissemination and is not conducive to the"going out"of Guangxi stories.In view of this,this article takes the Zhuang ethnic group in Guangxi as an example to analyze the characteristics of Zhuang ethnic cultural propaganda texts,and guided by the theory of purpose,with the ultimate goal of transmitting information and promoting foreign exchanges,adopts translation strategies suitable for minority ethnic cultural customs for propaganda translation,providing reference for the English translation of Guangxi Zhuang ethnic cultural propaganda texts.
