Based on the international perspective of the"New Silk Road",the image discourse system has played an important role in assisting the construction of a new national image.Documentary films,as a crucial part and indispensable subject form in vi-sual narrative,not only have authoritative and serious official narrative characteristics,but also can use"new technology"and histori-cal dialogue to encode the cultural characteristics of countries along the Silk Road through multiple perspectives and clues,forming a referential"visual community".And based on the decoding and interpretation,a"cultural community"with the significance of promot-ing the coupling and exchange of national values is isomorphized,so as to establish a dialogue between the present and history,re-structure the future pattern of the nation,and rebuild the"community with a shared future"for humanity in the context of local turbu-lence and smoke-filled new world order.
