The traditional handicrafts of the Li ethnic group have a long history and have made important contributions to the de-velopment of human civilization.However,due to social development and changes in the times,the modern design transformation of traditional handicrafts has gradually lost its original social value and cultural significance,resulting in significant changes in both form and content.Nowadays,the inheritance and development of traditional craftsmanship are difficult to integrate into the system of mod-ern design education.Designers use innovative design thinking to combine traditional handicrafts with modern design for innovation and transformation,weakening the cultural connotation of the creation itself.This article analyzes the current development and re-search status of traditional craftsmanship,systematically summarizes the experience,technology,and knowledge of Li ethnic crafts-manship,and provides a useful reference and supplement for the framework of the knowledge system,in order to solve various prob-lems in the inheritance and development of handicrafts,and make the construction of the knowledge system more systematic.
