Study on the Translation of Cultural Load Words in Mongolian Novels from the Perspective of Ecological Translation—Taking The Argali Sheep as an Example
Mongolian literature is one of the many ethnic cultures in China,bearing the rich history,regional characteristics,and values of the Mongolian people.In the context of globalization and the high-quality development of the"Belt and Road"initiative,the study of the English translation of cultural load words in Mongolian novels holds significant importance.This paper takes the Mongo-lian literary work The Argali Sheep as an example which contains a large number of Mongolian culture load works and Chinese com-mon expressions.And the author will analyze the translation of cultural load words in Mongolian novels in terms of language,culture,and communication dimensions from the perspective of ecological translation,combining specific and effective translation strategies,considering how to effectively convey the unique cultural information in a cross-cultural context,making the original and purpose lan-guage readers have the same reading experience.This approach aims to maintain ecological balance and cultural diversity while better disseminating the essence of traditional Chinese culture and enhancing the world's understanding and awareness of Mongolian culture.
