A Contrastive Study of the Forms of Chinese Kazak Derivatives
With the development of things,the progress of technology,and the changes of the times,vocabulary,as the most sensitive member in language to reflect environmental changes,is also undergoing changes.The research and analysis of vocabulary has always been a hot topic.Derivative words,also known as adjuncts,belong to a type of compound words and occupy a certain pro-portion in vocabulary.They are also a type of word commonly used in people's daily communication and life.This article adopts the theory of contrastive linguistics to compare the formation methods of Chinese derived words and Kazakh neologisms.Based on the commonly recognized word formation methods in academia,the formation methods of derived words are divided into pre addition and post addition to analyze the characteristics of the formation of derived words in the two languages.The similarities and differences of derived words in the two languages are summarized,hoping to provide assistance to Kazakh language learners.
