Taking 673 documents related to Russian translation included in the CNKI database from 2002 to 2023 as the data source,this study uses bibliometric methods and visualization analysis software CiteSpace to visually present the literature in the field of Russian translation research,quantitatively analyze its research status and hotspots,explore existing problems and challenges,and propose and predict future trends.The research results show that the current focus of Russian translation research mainly include translation principles and strategies,and the cultivation of translation talents;there are deficiencies in the innovation level of research paradigms,methods and tools,and theoretical levels;researcher collaboration between the same discipline and interdisciplinary fields needs to be strengthened;the translation concept shows a lagging characteristic;research on translation principles and strategies needs to be improved;the translation talent cultivation mechanism should be adjusted according to the needs of the times.In terms of re-search trends,Russian translation research may focus more on interdisciplinary cross-cutting in the future;the application prospects of corpus in the fields of dictionary compilation,machine translation,translation research,and language teaching will also become im-portant research directions;research in the field of translation technology and machine translation will also continue to be a hot topic and trend.
