A Study on the English Translation Strategy of The 2022 Government Work Report from the Perspective of Three-Dimensional Transformation
In today's highly integrated development of international politics,economy and culture,it is very important to tell China's story well to the world,convey China's voice,establish the image of a great power,and build China's political discourse power through the translation of foreign publicity materials.Based on the"three-dimensional transformation"theory of ecological translation studies,this paper uses case analysis and qualitative analysis to explore how translators can flexibly deal with the differences in sen-tence structure between Chinese and English,the expression of words with Chinese characteristics and Chinese four-character struc-ture in the translation of The 2022 Government Work Report to achieve the goal of cross-cultural communication with high-quality translation which is closest to the thinking mode of the target language readers.It is found that translators made adaptive selection and transformation from the linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions in the translation process to achieve a dynamic balance between the source language environment and the target language environment and achieve the best transmission effect of the target text.
