A Corpus-Based Analysis of Idioms in Uyghur Translation—Taking Xi Jinping:The Governance of China(Ⅲ)as an Example
Idiomatic expressions are the crystallization of the history,culture and living customs of the Chinese nation.They are a kind of idiomatic expressions,which are commonly used fixed phrases.There are fixed forms with three syllables as the main form,and there are more than three syllables.Xi Jinping:The Governance of China(Ⅲ)(Hereinafter referred to as Xi Jinping:The Governance of China)expounds the ideas and principles followed by Chinese leader and General Secretary Xi Jinping in national governance since the 19th National Congress,which is of great significance to the development of our country.There are a lot of idioms in the book.This paper analyzes the Chinese and Uygur versions of idioms in Xi Jinping:The Governance of China.This paper classifies,collects and sorts out the idioms in the book,analyzes the translation methods,principles and skills,and aims to study and research political documents and their translations,so as to provide some references for improving the translation quality of political documents.
