A Comparative Study on the Predicate-Object Structures in Chinese and Kazakh
Predicate-object structure is an indispensable grammatical structure in Chinese as an SVO language.It plays an im-portant role in Chinese grammar because of its rich variety.The predicate-object structure is also a very important grammatical struc-ture in Kazakh SOV language.However,there are some differences between the two languages in terms of expression forms and grammatical rules,in addition to word order.This paper will make use of contrastive analysis to compare the structure,grammar,pragmatics and semantics of the predicate object structure in order to find out the commonality and individuality of the two languages.It is hoped that it can help second language learners to learn and master the predicate object structure and the sentences made up of the predicate object structure.It also provides a certain degree of reference for later scholars to study and exchange.It is also hoped that this paper can provide reference for translation work,promote the exploration of practical application and value of predicate ob-ject structure,and promote the communication and development of Chinese and Kazakh.
