In order to better conform to the trend of the times,Uyghur people enrich their own vocabulary by borrowing words from other languages.First of all,this paper studies the current situation of Uyghur loanwords by consulting literature,and finds that there are a large number of Russian and English loanwords in Uyghur.Through statistical summary,it is found that most of Uyghur loanwords are academic and life words.The borrowing methods mainly include transliterated words,transliterated category words and combined words.The parts of speech of loanwords are mainly nouns.The meaning of some borrowed words has changed.In addition,this paper also discusses the reasons for borrowing words,such as economic development and social changes.Finally,the paper makes a deep thinking on the current situation of loan words and the principle of borrowing,and puts forward some suggestions.In short,the study of loanwords is of great significance in Uyghur language and is worth further study and discussion.
