Mythology is closely related to the formation and development of the Chinese national community consciousness.As a typical multi-ethnic region,Yunlong County in Dali has produced mythological stories that transcend mystery and through long-term interactions.The mythological narratives of various ethnic groups not only include the collective memory of Yunnan's ethnic minorities who share the same origin and common ancestor,but also reflect the cultural genes of the Chinese national community.They also pro-ject the hopes and aspirations of various ethnic groups for universal harmony,beauty,and harmony.The myth of Yunlong reflects from the perspective of national history and spiritual values that the Chinese nation is a diverse and indivisible community.This article aims to study the sense of community among the Chinese nation contained in the mythological narrative of Yunlong County,Dali,in order to awaken the Chinese roots that have been passed down for thousands of years among various ethnic groups and promote unity among the Chinese nation.This article mainly adopts the methods of historical research and field investigation to systematically study the folk mythological stories and oral narratives of various ethnic groups,in order to summarize the connection between their homolo-gous and ancestral genes and the sense of community of the Chi-nese nation,and contribute to doing a good job in ethnic work in the new era.
