A Study of Red Culture Creating a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation in College of Minority Regions
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee has put forward high-er requirements for national unity work,aiming to"strengthen the sense of community for the Chinese nation".As the main body of cultural exchange in ethnic regions,the status and behavior of college students in the sense of community for the Chinese nation,as well as how to cultivate and strengthen their sense of community for the Chinese nation,are of great significance for doing a good job in ethnic work in the new era and promoting talent cultivation in universities.The red culture is engraved with the glorious history of the Party's unity and leadership in the heroic struggle of people of all ethnic groups.Its values,concepts,and spiritual essence have guiding values for ideal beliefs and noble sentiments of college students in the new era.It helps to enhance the"five identifications"of college students and thus strengthen their awareness of the community of the Chinese nation.Based on this,this article proposes a practical path to strengthen the awareness of the Chinese national community among college students from three dimensions:integrat-ing red culture into the classroom,integrating campus culture construction,and integrating into social practice.
