In the new era,China's socio-economic environment has become increasingly complex,with ideological waves and various social trends constantly emerging.The ideological factors that affect students have gradually become complex and diverse,posing new challenges to the work of ideological and political education in universities.As a progressiveness and revolutionary culture with Chinese characteristics,red culture is a valuable educational resource for colleges and universities to carry out ideological and political education for college students.From the existing red resources and red spirit,the value,function,and spiritual production characteristics of red culture in university education work can be derived.Then,the internal logic and essential laws contained in red culture can be grasped,and the implementation path of integrating red culture into ideological and political education work in univer-sities can be optimized.This helps college students to strengthen their confidence in the path,system,theory,and culture,and to im-plement the fundamental task of cultivating moral character in universities.
