The Reference Significance of the Digital Humanities Construction of Shanghai Library to the Subject Service of University Libraries
The high-quality development of higher education is intertwined with the new demand for library and information.With the release of the notice on Adjustment and Optimization Reform Plan for the Setting of Disciplines and Majors in General Higher Education and the implementation of higher education institutions,library discipline services are also facing new challenges.How to serve the cross disciplinary integration,in line with the goals of"comprehensive deepening of new engineering disciplines,in-tegrated development of new medical sciences,high-level promotion of new agricultural sciences,and future layout of new humani-ties",has become a new direction for university library discipline services.The digital humanities construction of Shanghai Library is one of the earliest libraries in China to explore interdisciplinary integration,and has achieved remarkable results.This article draws on the innovative measures and successful experience of Shanghai Library in the construction of digital humanities,and proposes an innovative path for subject services in university libraries,aiming to improve the level of subject services in university libraries and provide reference for related research.
