Research on the Phenomenon of Text Iteration in the Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Folk Songs—A Case Study of the Western Transmission and Eastern Promotion of the Folk Song Jasmine Flower
The folk song Jasmine Flower serves as an exemplary case in the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture,possessing typical significance and research value.The phenomenon of"text iteration"that emerges during its overseas dissemination is a cru-cially acknowledged factor.Grounded in the dual realms of"Western transmission"and"Eastern promotion"in the dissemination of the folk song Jasmine Flower,this paper centers on the overseas transmission text of the song.Through literature research and experi-ential summarization,it explores the concept and phenomenon of"text iteration"in the dissemination of folk songs with more typical significance.The paper proposes four strategies for"text iteration":"expanding dimensions""broadening scope""exploring depth"and"enhancing height".It articulates the significance and value of"text iteration"in the overseas dissemination of Chinese folk songs,highlighting its role in the"redemption of'peripheral'culture","localization of displaced culture"and"dynamic culture as a carrier".The aim is to contribute to the enhancement and efficiency of the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture in the new era.
