Research on Aging Friendly Design of Smartphone Interfaces Based on User Experience—Taking WeChat App as an Example
In recent years,with the rapid development of global information technology,people are enjoying the convenience brought by technological innovation.However,the elderly are facing the embarrassment of the digital divide.It is urgent to effectively solve the difficulties of the elderly in using intelligent technology.Through the analysis of survey questionnaires and in-depth inter-views,the author found that the elderly often face problems such as unclear identification,accidental pop-up windows,and difficulty in operation when using smartphones.Therefore,this article attempts to introduce user experience theory to explore the psychological needs,physiological characteristics,and preferences of the elderly group.Using case study methods,starting from four aspects:senso-ry needs,emotional needs,functional needs,and interactive needs,taking WeChat App as an example,the interface design of the app is simplified,color adjusted,icon replacement,and function optimization.It provides a feasible strategy for improving user experience through aging friendly design of smartphone interface design,hoping to help the elderly group use intelligent technology without barri-ers and improve their life experience.
