In order to study the isolation effect of honeycomb wave impeding barriers(HWIB)on site vibration induced by heavy-haul train operating on Railway Viaduct,a 3D numerical model of Site-HWIB-Building was established using fi-nite element software LS-DYNA.The vibration response of the bridge pier was used as the excitation source of the site, the influence of parameters such as the filling method of the honeycomb, the position of the barrier area, the length of the pile, and the filling material on the vibration isolation effect of HWIB was analyzed. The results indicate that the ground vibration amplifies near the barrier area, and the amplitude of amplification is related to the length of the pile and the posi-tion of the barrier area. The vibration isolation effect of three rows of filling is better than that of one row of filling and no filling. The barrier area should be set in a reasonable position, and being too close or too far from the bridge pier is not good. The HWIB with a pile length of 12 m is better than the pile length of 6 m,and the rubber has a better vibration iso-lation effect when far from the barrier area. Finally, setting the vibration isolation parameters reasonably and applying HWIB to the one story building near Shenshan Viaduct,it was found that the vibration amplitudes of the building monito-ring points decreased below the limit after vibration reduction.
