The aerodynamic parameters of a 4 MW wind turbine applicable to the sea area of Beibu Gulf of Guangxi were designed.A numerical model of the wind turbine is established,and the aerodynamic performance of the wind turbine is analyzed;the relationship between the wind energy utilization coefficient of the wind turbine and the tip speed ratio and pitch angle is calculated,and the optimal wind energy utilization coefficient and the optimal tip speed ratio are obtained;based on the measured wind speed data of the Beibu Gulf sea area of Guangxi,the parameters of the Weibull distribution of the area are obtained,and the Weibull method is adopted to determine the rated wind speed of the wind turbine;the ra-ted power of 4 MW is obtained at the rated wind speed by using FAST,and the rated rotation speed is obtained based on the control strategy of variable speed pitch;based on the measured wind speed,the power generation of the designed 4 MW wind turbine in 2021 and 2022 is calculated.The results show that the 4 MW wind turbine has good power genera-tion performance.
