The Three Gorges ship lift,with fully balanced vertical lifting as the core,is currently the world's largest,most complex operating conditions and the most technically difficult ship lift.Under the condition that the complex exter-nal navigation environment of the Three Gorges ship lift cannot be changed,the orbital traction system cannot be installed and arranged.In order to improve the passage efficiency of the Three Gorges ship lift,this paper proposes to use the push-er boat jacking method to realize the entry and exit of ships,but it is necessary to face the problem of low-speed navigation of groups of ships in the narrow channel of the upper and lower locks.This paper mainly focuses on the typical working conditions of low-speed navigation in narrow waterways when groups of ships enter and exit the ship's compartment,con-siders the influence of shallow water effect,shore wall effect and ship-ship interference,and analyzes the hydrodynamic characteristics and inter-ship interference of the two ships,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent efficiency improvement of ship lift.
