Preparation of polymer dispersed liquid crystal membranes using solvent induced phase separation method at different temperatures. The morphology of the samples was characterized by SEM,the optical properties of the samples were studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and the magnetization curves of the samples were studied by VSM.The re-sults show that when the curing temperature is controlled within the range of Cr-24℃-N-35.5℃-I of the phase transition order of liquid crystal 5CB,the convergence of liquid crystal droplets during the phase separation process can be signifi-cantly suppressed.Among them, when the curing temperature is slowly changing between 25 ℃ and 35.5 ℃,the formed liquid crystal droplets are fine and uniform. The threshold voltage(Vth),saturation voltage(Vsa,)and contrast(CR)of the PDLC films increased, the off-state transmittance(Toff)decreased, and the on-state transmittance(Ton)increased. The average magnetic moment is significantly increased, and the electro-optical properties and magneto-optical performance is significantly improved.
