Effect of aluminum hydroxide on the performance of geopolymer anticorrosion coatings
In order to investigate the effect of aluminum hydroxide as anticorrosive filler on the performance of geopolymer anticorrosive coatings, the adhesion, toughness, and anticorrosive properties of the coatings were tested in this paper with different dosages of aluminum hydroxide. The test results show that:in the aluminum hydroxide doping of 2%,the comprehensive performance of the coating is the best, the adhesion is 1.39 MPa,toughness is 6 mm,and the corrosion area ratio is the smallest after 15 d of chlorine salt im-mersion,15 d of dry and wet cycle, and 7 d of salt spray test, which decreased by 20.05%,27.25%,and 38.91%compared with the blank control group, respectively. The test can provide a reference for the sub-sequent research and performance enhancement of the geopolymer anticorrosion coating on biotite base.
