Analysis of factors affecting durability performance of self-luminous cement-based pavement materials
An analysis was conducted on self-luminous cement-based pavement materials using the con-trolled experimental tests, and the effects of two factors of varying dosages of luminous sand and reflective powder to the durability performance of self-luminous cement pavement materials were investigated.Re-sults indicate that after being immersed for 7 days, the self-luminous pavement material experienced the most rapid decline in initial luminous brightness and afterglow duration. However, samples immersed for longer periods showed significantly reduced decay rates compared to those immersed for 7 days. The sam-ples containing 40%luminous sand exhibited the best frost and corrosion resistance, when the luminous sand content fixed as 20%,the optimal content of reflentive powder is 10%.This study can offer valuable insights and directions for future material enhancement and practical applications.
