Based on the farmers of winter rape planting region in the Yangtze River Basin as the research samples,the influencing mechanism and effect of carrying out differentiation on the farmers'willingness to cultivate winter idle field for rape planting were analyzed.The results showed that:firstly,differentiation had a negative effect on the willingness of farmers to cultivate winter idle field for rape planting.The higher the degree of part-time operation,the more unfavorable it was for farmers to cultivate winter idle field for rape planting.At the same time,individual characteristics,family characteristics and production factors significantly affected the farmers'willingness to culti-vate winter idle field for rape planting.Secondly,mechanism analysis showed that part-time operation promoted the willingness of farmers to cultivate winter idle field for rape planting through agricultural productive services.Third-ly,heterogeneity analysis showed that there was a difference in farmers'willingness to cultivate winter idle field for rape planting among 9 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Basin,among which Yunnan province had the high-est impact and Hubei province had the least one.Therefore,it is suggested to promote the orderly cultivation of rape planting in winter idle field,strengthen the construction of agricultural productive service system and distin-guish between different pravinces(cities)to rationally guide the outflow of rural surplus labor to promote the culti-vation of rape planting in winter idle field.
