Calibration and analysis of the suspension velocity of broken rice
Aiming at the problems of high energy consumption and high loss rate of broken rice,the suspen-sion velocity of broken rice was tested.Broken rice particles with different particle sizes(1.0 mm,1.3 mm,1.5 mm,1.8 mm,2.0 mm)were taken as experimental objects.Based on CFD-DEM coupling simulation test,the simulated suspension velocities of broken rice are 4.93 m/s,5.99 m/s,6.98 m/s,7.95 m/s and 8.5 m/s,respectively.The suspension velocities of broken rice are 4.52 m/s,5.42 m/s,6.59 m/s,7.59 m/s and 8.23 m/s,respectively.The maximum relative error is 10.5%and the minimum relative error is 3.3%.By modifying the simulation measurement results,the simulated suspension velocity correction coefficients are 0.92,0.90,0.94,0.95 and 0.97 respectively.The research results provide theoretical reference for the me-chanical design and optimization of air-separation equipment for rice bran and broken rice.
