"计算材料学"课程教学改革探索

目前,国内外许多高等教育机构在"计算材料学"课程的教材选择和知识点构建上相对传统,而材料信息学的快速发展,特别是机器学习和大数据方向的发展,为计算材料学的未来发展指明了新的方向,因此亟需开展基于材料信息学的"计算材料学"课程改革.以吉林大学为例,通过引入新的教学理念、教学素材、教学工具和教评方法,打造融合传统多尺度计算方法和新兴人工智能手段的特色课程,为"计算材料学"课程的体系建设、材料学人才培养和材料科学的快速高效发展贡献力量,并为国内外"计算材料学"课程体系的设计提供了有益借鉴.
Exploration on teaching reform of"Computational Materials Science"course
Currently,many domestic and foreign higher education institutions are relatively traditional in their selection of textbooks and construction of knowledge points for Computational Materials Science course.However,the rapid development of materials informatics,especially machine learning and big data,has pointed out new directions for the future development of computational materials science.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out the reform of the"Computational Materials Science"course based on materials infor-matics.Taking Jinlin University as an example,by introducing new teaching concepts,teaching materials,teaching tools,and teaching evaluation methods,we can create a distinctive course that integrates tradition-al multiscale computational methods and emerging artificial intelligence methods.This will contribute to the construction of the course system for"Computational Materials Science",the training of materials sci-ence talents,and the rapid and efficient development of materials science.It will also provide beneficial ref-erences for the design of"Computational Materials Science"course systems both domestically and interna-tionally.
