In recent years,various sudden disasters—including geological events,floods,epidemics,and diseases—have occurred with increasing frequency,posing significant threats to the safety of lives and property.The urgent challenge of executing rapid and effective emergency rescue operations while ensuring the timely provision of essen-tial grain supplies has emerged as a critical issue that requires resolution.This paper analyzes the influencing factors of location selection for grain emergency distribution centers,and develops a model based on the theory of location advantage to facilitate the location process in Hubei Province,aiming to enhance both the coverage area and re-sponse speed of these centers through scientifically informed planning,thereby bolstering regional capacity for grain emergencies.
