液晶润滑ZrO2/PI的超滑性能研究

研究了由液晶(LC)和聚酰亚胺(PI)组成的摩擦学系统的摩擦性能.该摩擦学系统用ZrO2 和PI(PMDA-ODA)薄膜作为摩擦副,液晶 3PEP5(80%)-3UTPP2(20%),3PEP5(80%)-3UTPP4(20%)和 3PEP5(80%)-4UTPP3(20%)作为润滑剂.在不同的转速和载荷下对该系统进行了摩擦试验,并对实验样品PI膜进行了表面分析测试,其中包括白光干涉测试和SERS.摩擦实验结果表明:液晶 3PEP5(80%)-4UTPP3(20%)在5N载荷和250 r/min转速下的平均摩擦系数最小.表面分析结果表明:PI分子主链与侧链的部分基团在摩擦后的取向与PI表面平行,导致超滑现象的产生.在摩擦学系统中以ZrO2 陶瓷作为摩擦副是一种新的尝试,这有助于推动ZrO2摩擦系统的研究.
Superlubricity performance of ZrO2/PI lubricated with liquid crystals
This paper focuses on the friction performance of a tribological system composed of liquid crystal(LC)and polyimide(PI).The tribological system mentioned uses ZrO2 and PI(PMDA-ODA)films as the friction pair,with liquid crystals 3PEP5(80%)-3UTPP2(20%),3PEP5(80%)-3UTPP4(20%)and 3PEP5(80%)-4UTPP3(20%)used as lubricants.We conducted friction tests on the system under different rotational speeds and loads,and performed surface analysis tests on the PI film experimental sample,including white light interference testing and SERS.The friction test results show that the average friction coefficient of liquid crystal 3PEP5(80%)-4UTPP3(20%)is the smallest under a load of 5 N and a rotational speed of 250 r/min,and those of surface analysis tests show that some groups in the main chain and side chain of the PI molecule are oriented parallel to the PI surface after rubbing,resulting in the occurrence of superlubricity.Using ZrO2 ceramics as the friction pair in the tribological system is a new attempt,which will contribute to the future research of ZrO2 friction systems.
