Study on the Characteristics of Dynamic Explosion Fragments and Their Damage Effect on Cabin Structure
Smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH)numerical method was used to study the variation of fragment velocity and flying direction angle at different warhead velocities.A typical cabin was con-structed,and the damage effect of dynamic explosion fragments on cabin structure was studied. The results show that when the velocity of warhead is 1000 m/s,the maximum velocity of fragments flying along the direction of warhead is 155.4%of that under static explosion, and the maximum velocity of fragments flying in the opposite direction is 28.9%of that under static explosion. The flying direction angle of fragments is 83.4 under static explosion and 35.2 under the moving speed of warhead of 1000 m/s.The damage degree of the plate frame in the direction of warhead movement under dynamic ex-plosion increases. The velocity of warhead has obvious enhancement effect on the velocity of scattered fragments in the direction of motion, and obvious weakening effect on the velocity of scattered frag-ments in the opposite direction of motion. The whole flying area of the fragment group deviates to the direction of the velocity of the warhead. With the increase of the moving speed of the warhead, the damage degree of the plate frame facing the moving direction of the warhead increases, while the dam-age degree of the plate frame facing the moving direction of the warhead decreases. The damage area on the plate parallel to the direction of warhead movement deviates to the direction of warhead move-ment,which leads to the asymmetric damage characteristics of the cabin structure as a whole in the di-rection of warhead movement.
