Homogeneity Evaluation of Hot Recycled Asphalt Mixture Considering Particle Agglomeration
Screening test was carried out to obtain the quality of particle agglomeration, and the inter-nal characteristic structure of recycled asphalt mixture was identified based on CT scanning.Taking quality and area of cement components as main characteristic parameters,a method for evaluating the uniformity of hot recycled asphalt mixture considering the degree of particle agglomeration was estab-lished.Meanwhile,by setting different RAP particle size and RAP mixing ratio in screening test, and setting different mixing time and mixing temperature in CT scanning, the influence law of different in-fluencing factors on particle agglomeration and uniformity of recycled asphalt mixture was explored. The results show that the agglomeration ratio of particles decreases with the increase of RAP particle size, and the agglomeration degree of particles with 40%RAP content is the highest.Mixing time has a significant effect on the uniformity of old asphalt mortar, but has no obvious effect on the uniform distribution of new asphalt mortar. In a certain mixing time, increasing the mixing temperature can reduce the degree of particle agglomeration and reduce the time required for the old asphalt mortar to achieve uniform distribution.
