Performance Evaluation of High Anti-slip Surface Layer of Single Particle Size Calcined Bauxite Aggregate
In the experiment,three kinds of high anti-sliding surface specimens with single particle size of 1.18~2.36,2.36~4.75 and 4.75~9.5 mm were prepared by selecting different spreading a-mounts of calcined bauxite aggregate(10,12,14 kg/m2),using epoxy resin as cementing agent and u-sing asphalt mixture and concrete as different substrates.The structural depth,swing value,mean structural depth(MPD)and root mean square height(Rq)of high anti-sliding surface layers on differ-ent substrate surfaces were obtained by traditional sand laying method,and the three-dimensional dis-tribution map of each index was obtained.Meanwhile,the correlation between the structural depth of high anti-sliding surface and other indicators was explored by establishing a model.The results show that the road performance of calcined bauxite aggregate is significantly better than that of ordinary ag-gregate.When the amount of epoxy resin is 1.5 L/m3,the particle size of calcined bauxite aggregate is 2.36~4.75 mm,and the spreading amount is 12 kg/m2,the single-particle high anti-sliding surface layer has excellent anti-sliding performance.At the same time,there is a good correlation between the evaluation indexes of high anti-sliding surface layer.
