Taking a three-stern ship as the research object,the full parametric modeling was carried out by CAESES software.By changing the design variables that control the hull surface,based on the layout constraints and hydrostatic constraints,the fore-aft profile of the three-stern ship was opti-mized with the total resistance as the optimization objective.The results show that the total resistance of the ship at the design speed has been effectively reduced.
