In order to inherit and protect traditional clothing culture,the article selects the color painted standing figurine image unearthed from Tomb 1 of Mawangdui,and applies the research method of mutual verification of physical objects,images,and literature to virtual restore the robes and clothing of Chu State through digital means.The research has shown that the wooden figurine costumes have high credibility,and their clothing originates from the daily life of the Chu people with realism;Digital clothing restoration can reduce fitting differences,save fitting time,and improve restoration efficiency through virtual technology.This article proposes a set of methods suitable for virtual simulation technology to reconstruct planar structures in a three-dimensional manner,which provides the possibility for the digitization of ancient clothing and provides a theoretical basis and experimental method for the research of other image clothing.
