Analysis on the Craft and Aesthetic Characteristics of She Ethnic Embroidery in Yongfeng
The analysis of the craftsmanship and aesthetic characteristics of Yongfeng She embroidery has certain practical significance in promoting the protection and inheritance of Yongfeng She embroidery,and has certain reference value in promoting the regeneration and de-velopment of local traditional crafts.This article takes the oral narrative of Ms.Lei Caiying,the inheritor of Yongfeng She embroidery,and her private collection as the research scope.Through a combination of physical analysis and documentary data collection and analysis,the embroidery types and their craftsmanship of Yongfeng She embroidery are sorted out.This study aims at refining its characteristics and aes-thetic characteristics,exploring the folk connotation and aesthetic consciousness behind it,and striving to restore this folk craft.The study believes that the emergence and development of Yongfeng She embroidery are closely related to the lives of the local She minority group;its embroidery varieties mainly include clothing and daily necessities,which serve life and have auspicious meanings;its embroidery stitches are simple and clumsy,and are not the same as other She embroidery.There is not much difference between Yongfeng She embroidery and other varieties of She embroidery.The combination of embroidery base splicing,embroidery lace and the production process of casual em-broidery and embroidery are its characteristic craftsmanship.The patterns are simple,the themes are wide,the composition is simple,the col-ors are gorgeous,the shapes are three-dimensional,and the peasant painting style is the combination of their aesthetic characteristics origi-nate from life,embodying the She people's cognitive spirit of yearning for beauty and their pure and straightforward aesthetic concepts.
