Exploring the Methods of Designing Huizhou Tourist Costume Products——Taking the Ma Tau Wall as an Example
To explore innovative design methods for incorporating traditional Chinese architectural elements into tourism clothing products,this study aims to promote the dissemination of national and regional culture.Focusing on the highly representative Ma Tau Wall of Hui-style architecture,this paper employs field investigation and literature review to collate and summarize the architectural features of the Ma Tau Wall and the current state of the tourism product market in the Huizhou area.The patterns,shapes,and colors of the Ma Tau Wall ele-ments are analyzed through comprehensive observation,graphic and textual corroboration,and design and aesthetics theories.Building on this,the paper explores the application principles and innovative design methods of Ma Tau Wall elements in tourism clothing product de-sign.The results reveal that the"Ma Tau"element in the Ma Tau Wall is rich and varied in design,exuding dynamic,heroic,and upright beauty,while also embodying the positive significance of pursuing ideals.The colors are elegant and simple,conveying a serene and com-posed worldview,which holds significant aesthetic value.This aligns well with the current aesthetic preference for simplicity and offers ad-vantages in modern product design.This design practice will not only enhance the dissemination of the Hui-style architectural aesthetics rep-resented by the Ma Tau Wall but also enrich the thematic variety of Huizhou tourism clothing design.
