2020年底,我国成功结束了脱贫攻坚战,实现了对绝对贫困的彻底消除,确保了所有农村贫困人口脱贫.这一艰巨的任务已经圆满完成.而在当前的经济发展进程中,缩小我国的城乡收入差距成为了需要解决的问题.目前,我国城乡发展不平衡是拉大收入差距的原因之一,实际中的城乡收入和财富差距在很大程度上是由城乡二元结构造成的,而新型城镇化与农业现代化在一定程度上对我国城乡二元结构起到重要作用.因此,本文采用了全国2005-2021年31个省市区的面板数据,应用熵值法和耦合协调度模型,测算各地区2005-2021年新型城镇化水平与农业现代化水平的耦合协调度.同时,构建PVAR模型对新型城镇化水平与农业现代化水平耦合协调度对城乡收入差距的影响进行实证检验.研究结果显示,推进新型城镇化与农业现代化协调发展成为进一步缩小我国城乡收入差距的关键举措.
Abstract
By the end of 2020,China successfully concluded its poverty alleviation campaign,achieving the thorough elimination of absolute poverty and ensuring the complete uplift of all rural impoverished populations'living standard.This monumental and challenging mission has been satisfactorily accomplished.In the current economic development process of China,the urgent issue lies in narrowing the urban-rural income gap.The existing urban-rural development imbalance is one of the causes contributing to the widening income gap,with substantial differences in income and wealth between urban and rural areas primarily resulting from the dual structure.This study utilizes panel data from 31 provinces across China from 2005 to 2021.Employing the entropy method,we assess the coordinated development levels of new urbanization and agricultural modernization in different regions during the aforementioned period.Simultaneously,a PVAR model is constructed to empirically test the impact of the coordination degree between the two developments on the urban-rural income gap.The research findings indicate that advancing the coordinated development of new urbanization and agricultural modernization significantly reduces the urban-rural income gap.Economic urbanization has a considerable impact on China's new urbanization level,while the level of agricultural output plays a crucial role in the development of agricultural modernization.Therefore,continuously promoting the coordinated development of the two is a key measure for narrowing further the urban-rural income gap.
