From the perspective of value theory,in his new book,"How to Make a Good Life Possible",Professor Jiang Chang has made a comprehensive and holistic theoretical study on the issue of"good life"proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping.It has been constructed a value theory with"good life"as the core category.Unlike previous value theories which only emphasize the objectivity of value or the subjectivity of value,it grasps the theoretical implications of"good life"from the interactive relationship between the value subject and its living scene.A good life is not simply a moral good life,but a systematic whole that is dynamically interwoven with a series of subjective and objective factors.In analyzing the objective elements between the value subject and the ideal survival scenarios of nature and society,the unity of the objective environment in meeting the value needs of the subject is highlighted.When human individuals generally possess good qualities and personality,they can build a superior society and world.In a certain sense,it has made a new exploration of the autonomous knowledge system of ethics in China.
