Sudden infectious diseases pose a serious threat to people′s health and social stability,and have become a focal point of widespread concern in various sectors of society.In order to better prevent and control the occurrence and spread of infec-tious diseases,considering the delayed isolation time of contacts,based on the traditional SEIR model,introducing contact types,considering the delayed isolation time of contacts,an improved SEIR model(SCHcEIUHRD model)was proposed.The numeri-cal simulation results verified the effectiveness of the model,clarified the impact mechanism of delayed isolation of contacts on the spread of sudden infectious diseases,and indicated the necessity of timely isolation of contacts for epidemic control.This study can provide theoretical basis for the development of infectious disease prevention and control measures.
