Research on the Effect of Enterprise Digital Transformation Based on Industry Competition
Digital transformation has become the strategic choice of many enterprises in the era of digital economy,but many enterprises have poor results in digital transformation."Productive"or"useless"?In order to deeply explore the impact of enter-prises′digital transformation on financial performance,multiple regression analysis methods were adopted to empirically test the financial effect of enterprises′ digital transformation and the influence of industry competition degree on the relationship between them,taking Shanghai-Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2015 to 2021 as samples.The results show that digital trans-formation has a significant positive impact on financial performance.Industry competition negatively moderates the promotion effect of enterprise digital transformation on financial performance;Digital transformation can improve the financial performance of enterprises by easing financing constraints and reducing agency costs,but it has the characteristics of regional and firm heteroge-neity.
